The ASC67 Construction Project was first pioneered by ASCE-UCLA this year in early February 2014. The project consists of multiple teams, each working on a different project (although each project, as can be assumed, is a construction project). This year we competed in both the Mixed Use and Heavy Civil competitions. Both teams faired well, considering their prior experience coming into the competition. For anyone interested in construction management this is the project to work on. Consisting of one day of 16+ hours of non-stop work and another day of presentations, there is a lot each member learned. A banquet, career fair, and an unlimited token arcade are just some of the awesome perks of the competition. Along with a great competition it is a premier networking opportunity.
