Becoming a part of ASCE - UCLA has a variety of benefits including discounted registration rates, networking opportunities, and weekly emails with upcoming events, scholarships, & project information. Along with this and other benefits you become connected to a network of fellow Bruin Civil Engineers which acts as mentorship, years of resources, a dedicated support group, and very extended civil family. To join simply fill out a membership form (link at the bottom of the page) and turn it in with $20 into the ASCE mail box in the Civil and Environmental Dept Office (BH 5731). Registration comes with a free ASCE - UCLA shirt.
ASCE - UCLA hooks you up with networking events going on monthly such as infosessions and on-site tours with companies in the field of civil engineering. Also offered are civil engineering career fairs, which generally take
place twice a year here on the UCLA campus thanks to the work of ASCE - UCLA. The annual Pacific South West Conference also offers a third career fair for those amitious to start searching for internships and future jobs.

Becoming a member entitles you to certain discounts on registration for certain UCLA - ASCE events such as the annual regional conference. It also will make dues for a few years after graduation discounted as well.
