Design Build

Mixed Use

Workdays consist of working on practice problems as well tutorials and webinars hosted by industry coaches. We will also visit our industry coaches or have them visit us periodically. Members will learn the general basics for all positions, but are also assigned specific tasks for increased efficiency. These tasks include estimating costs, perfuming takeoffs, scheduling events, and designing site layouts.
RESOURCES
Our project is a competition in which we must completely plan and carry out a hypothetical construction job. There are three different categories we plan to compete in this upcoming year: Mixed Use, Heavy Civil, and Design Build. Our team has only been established for one year, however we are preparing to come back to the competition as a very serious competitor. ASC 67 provides civil engineering students at UCLA valuable experience in the general contracting and construction management field. As there are many civil engineering graduates each year that go into the general contracting field, this competition is an important tool for students who are interested.

ASC 67
During the Winter Quarter, ASC 67 worked hard on practice problems with the assistance of industry coaches. They recently competed in their competition in Sparks, NV. They improved greatly from last year's competition.
Where are they now?
